Restaurant Manager

Purpose of Job

Ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably. Provides coverage in all position levels (management and/or crew) at other locations when assigned

Responsible for the store operations at all times and directing the daily restaurant operations including: profitability, operations, guest satisfaction and team environment.


Profitability

Drive sales through effective execution of restaurant standards and marketing initiatives.

Delegate and lead processes to control labor costs, food costs and cash.

Ensure the safety and security of team and guests through preventative maintenance.

Analyze restaurant environment and business results to identify opportunities and action plan(s) with team to set and achieve goals.


Operations Excellence and Guest Satisfaction

Hold guests as highest priority and role models exceptional guest service.
Lead by example and promote a “sense of urgency” environment in satisfying guests. Ensure brand standards and systems are executed.
Engage and empower team to develop solutions that drive business results.


Team Leadership

Promote a healthy team environment by fostering respect, providing coaching and feedback, recognizing achievements, resolving employee concerns and communicating effectively.

Hire, train, develop and plan staffing levels to meet guest and business needs. Hold yourself and team accountable for responsibilities and results.

Other responsibilities

Ordering of all products and supplies and conduct weekly inventory.

Accurate and timely reconciliation of cash and coupons, and bank deposits (daily deposits of cash).

Responsible for cash in safe, cash in drawers, and all cash collected from sales.

Responsible for managing accuracy of sales for all shifts; review sales by shift, item deletions, refunds, etc., to ensure all employees are handling cash properly and accounting for all sales in the POS.

Reviewing and reconciling daily financials; compiling data weekly for collection by the Multi-Unit Manager.

Payroll data complete and accurate by the following workday.

Completion of new hire paperwork within appropriate timeframe.

Verification of new hire documentation, ensuring that individual is legally allowed to work in the USA.

Submit expense reports on time.
Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner and address issues with the crew.

Participate in marketing calls and have all marketing in place five days before start of new window.

Complete your manager certification through Dunkin On-line University. Participate in required company training sessions.
